Make-up Application Techniques

Foundation

Firstly find the perfect shade of foundation. The best way is to actually try this on it your face, if you are too shy about doing this try the foundation on the inside of the arm this is claimed to be the nearest match to your face.
Do not use a darker foundation to achieve a tanned look. instead use your normal shade and add bronzing powder.
The best way to apply fluid foundation is to use your fingertips, this warms the foundation and makes it easier to blend.
Apply a thin layer of foundation then apply to areas that actually need more coverage.

Eyeshadow

Apply the dark colour at the outer corner of the eye, light colour should be applied on the inner corner of the eye and under the eyebrow.

Apply the dark colour on the mobile eyelid and underneathe the eye.

Lip Colour

Dark colours will make lips smaller and light colours will expand them,so making them look larger.

Frosted lipsticks which drift in and out of fashion only look good on young lips, anyone over 25 should avoid them because they highlight lip wrinkles.

Create a bee sting pout by applying a rosy brown lipstick, then dabbing a bit of concealer in the middle of the bottom lip will lighten the lipstick one shade in the centre and make the lips look bigger.

Lip Liner.....Begin at the middle of the upper and lower lip to outline lips. For perfect symetry, use short light strokes rather than drawing your line in a single gesture.

Blusher

There are 3 possible and very easy ways to apply blush
1..Either on the "apples" of your cheeks for a youthfull lively look.
2..On the cheekbones for a sophisticated and structured look.
3..Close to the eyes stroking towards the temples to lend radiance to the face and highlight the eyes.
